David's room is still rather plainly appointed, but not unlike his room at the Warehouse. If anything, the largest difference is that he has a small table.
He was never in the habit of eating in his room before, but here it's all he has, if he wants his Friday evenings to go uninterrupted.
When Helena comes upstairs, she'll find the table already set for dinner. The Sabbath candles aren't lit yet, naturally, but the menorah's first three are.

Helena remembers that moment. It was more than a bit awkward.

She stands quietly, hands behind her back, closing her eyes at his blessing. Once he is done, she smiles at him and sits down.

"It has been a while since I joined you."

"I couldn't exactly bring the celebration to you. That would have been asking for trouble." And more than a bit creepy.
"But given how your week began, I thought you could use it."

"I do not believe there are any fire-activated Artifacts around the Bronze sector, darling." She smirks at him and shakes her head.

"I do thank you, darling. Remembering the past without losing my mind is probably a good exercise."

"That it is. Focus on the good for an evening, and all that."
There's nothing wrong with remembering those lost, but this isn't an evening for mourning.

"Exactly."

Helena grins at him, and almost on instinct, starts serving dinner. She is a Victorian lady, even though everyone (including her) forget that sometimes.
